1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 1NCBlockchain ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

1NCBlockchain is an educational and experimental blockchain platform designed to connect North Carolina's 100 counties through a blockchain ecosystem. The Platform provides:

• DeFi College — free blockchain education courses
• NCEx — a simulated decentralized exchange
• Cardinal Pay — a testnet cryptocurrency wallet
• NFT Marketplace — digital collectible minting and trading
• Governance — community voting on proposals
• Prediction Markets — simulated outcome markets

3. Testnet Environment

All tokens, coins, and digital assets on this platform exist on the Avalanche Fuji testnet and have NO real monetary value. Cardinal Coin (CC), county tokens, and any other digital assets on the Platform are for educational and experimental purposes only. They cannot be exchanged for fiat currency or real cryptocurrency.

4. No Financial Advice

Nothing on this Platform constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The educational content in DeFi College is for informational purposes only. You should consult qualified professionals before making any financial decisions.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as necessary. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure
• Transmit malware, spam, or other harmful content
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity
• Manipulate or exploit the rewards system through automated means
• Scrape, harvest, or collect user data without authorization

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its code, design, content, and educational materials, is owned by 1NCBlockchain and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

8. User Content

By submitting content to the Platform (including project submissions, governance proposals, and forum posts), you grant 1NCBlockchain a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content within the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. 1NCBlockchain shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

• Loss of testnet tokens or digital assets
• Interruptions to service or data loss
• Smart contract vulnerabilities or failures
• Errors in educational content
• Actions of third-party services (Supabase, Avalanche, etc.)

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
